What’s the best way to fill a Tiny Taco?
Each Tiny Taco 50 pack container includes a pop-up, accordion holder to help make filling easier. Many chefs also like to rest Tiny Tacos in carved out citrus or shaped aluminum trays. These methods make it easy to fill Tiny Tacos with a small spoon, pastry bag, or your fingers.
Are Tiny Tacos for hot or cold fillings?
Yes. Tiny Tacos carry both hot and cold fillings without intruding on their flavors. To ensure maximum crispiness, please fill and serve.
How much filling can a Tiny Taco hold?
We recommend a half tablespoon of filling with a small dollop of sauce and sprig of herb garnish.
How can I make Tiny Tacos last longer?
You’re in luck! Tiny Tacos kept in sealed sleeves freeze beautifully and stay fresh for at least 90 days kept in the freezer. They also stay shelf stable sealed in their sleeves for two months minimum. Another trick - you can refresh them after that with a flash fry and re-seasoning.
Can Tiny Tacos go in the microwave?
Please don’t put Tiny Tacos in the microwave. If you like them toasty, Tiny Tacos like to warm up in an oven or flash fry at 350-375 degrees for one to two seconds.
How fast will my Tiny Tacos arrive?
We make small Tiny Taco batches by hand to order in Brooklyn. So, the sooner you order, the better your chances of getting Tiny Tacos quickly. We ship them via UPS and offer the option of express shipping for a $20 fee.
Can I freeze Tiny Tacos to use them later?
We recommend freezing Tiny Tacos. Sealed in sleeves, they stay fresh for at least 90 days in the freezer and even longer if you refresh them along with proper care and handling.
I have allergies, can I eat Tiny Tacos?
Tiny Tacos are made with only taro root, canola oil, and sea salt. Our use of taro root and masa means these Tiny Tacos are grain-free. So, even if you're avoiding gluten, as long as you're not allergic to these three ingredients, you can enjoy the taro and masa Tiny Tacos. Just please make sure the fillings inside aren't on your allergy list.
